Booking a restaurant solves the hardest part of a seated event, which is food at scale. A kitchen that plates two hundred covers a night will plate your sixty without drama, front-of-house staff already know the service timing, and there is no catering vendor to brief, no rented kitchen, and no hot boxes in a corridor. For dinners, rehearsal dinners, client entertaining and anything where the meal is the event, it is the obvious choice.

The economics work differently here and it catches people out.
