Booking an event space in Greenwich Village
Greenwich Village listings are mid-sized and mid-priced — roughly $100 to $1,000 an hour, thirty to three hundred guests, averaging around two thousand square feet. The mix is bars and lounges, event studios, storefronts, retail spaces and live/work lofts, which is to say rooms at human scale rather than halls.
The neighbourhood itself does a lot of the work. Low-rise streets, NYU, and a dense run of restaurants and bars mean guests arrive early and stay late without needing anything programmed around the event. For receptions, book launches, alumni gatherings and dinners where you want people to spill out afterwards, it is hard to beat.
Expect the same constraints as any dense residential neighbourhood: tight load-in, limited parking and real noise limits after hours. Ask about curfews before you plan a late finish.
